Yoga for Brain Health

In addition to regular yoga postures and poses, this class will focus specifically on exercises which promote whole brain function, de-escalate the stress response, and calm the entire nervous system.  Whether you are recovering from stroke, concussion, depression or anxiety, or you wish to improve memory, concentration and balance — this class will give you simple tools to use in everyday life for better brain health.  Based on the work and research of Dr. Claire Weekes and neurophysiologist Dr. Carla Hannaford.  Suitable for all levels.
