A sample day (residential trainings)

6 – 8:30 am: Sunrise guided meditation/pranayama, guided asana (posture), universal chanting (kirtan) with harmonium

9 – 10 am: Breakfast

10 – 12 pm:  Studying poses, philosophy

12 – 1 pm: Lunch

1 – 3 pm: Yoga philosophy/discussions, group interactions

3 – 4:30 pm: Practice teaching, readings and contemplation/discussion

4:30 – 10 pm: Dinner/Free time

*On select days, we will take short excursions to nearby nature spots (hiking, beach, etc.)

8 – 10:30 am: Asana (posture), meditation/pranayama (Life-force control), and universal chanting with accompaniment (kirtan)

10:30 – 12 pm:  Studying poses, philosophy

12 – 1 pm: Lunch

1 – 3 pm: Yoga philosophy, anatomy/physiology, group interactions

3 – 6 pm: Studying poses, discussions

6 – 7 pm: Dinner

7 – 9 pm: Practice Teaching, Readings and contemplation/discussion

* There will be 5 – 15 minute tea breaks interspersed throughout each day
