SUMMARY:Spring Qigong Series: Build Resilience and Strength
DESCRIPTION:Spring Qigong Series: Build Resilience and Strength\n\n.\nLed by Savitri Cole\n1:30-2:30p\nSaturday\, May 2\nSaturday\, May 9\nSaturday\, May 16\n$20/individual class or $55 for the series\n\n.\n\nSpring Qigong: Build Resilience & Strength \n. \nSpring is a season of renewal\, growth\, and forward movement. In Qigong\, this time of year corresponds to the Wood element and the return of Yang Qi (the expansive energy of nature). In this special Qigong series\, you will be guided through breathwork\, gentle warm-ups\, and flowing movements to balance the Wood qi — associated with adaptability\, strength\, and mental clarity. \n. \nWhen Wood is out of balance\, we may feel anger\, frustration or “stuck in the mud”. When Wood is in harmony\, we embody kindness\, clear direction\, and skillful action. \n. \nIn Spring Qigong classes\, we explore gentle spiraling and twisting movements to release tension\, increase strength and joint mobility\, and open space in the body for inspiration and fresh perspective. Stabilizing “Tree” practices promote a sense of grounded stability and balance as we expand into the activity of Spring. \n. \nWho It’s For: \n. \nAll levels are welcome — no experience necessary. Come as you are\, and wear clothes that allow you to move freely and comfortably. \n. \nAbout Qigong: Qigong (pronounced “chi-gong”) blends gentle flowing movements\, breath\, body tapping\, and meditation to help clear energy pathways and cultivate healthy “qi”—your natural life-force energy. When qi circulates freely and remains balanced\, it supports harmony within the body and mind—promoting vitality\, mental clarity\, and inner peace. \n. \nQigong developed thousands of years ago in ancient China. Savitri teaches from the Five Elements (Wu Xing) Qigong tradition\, a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This tradition recognizes that the same forces of nature that shape the seasons also move through us. Through exercises aligned with these natural rhythms\, this style of Qigong supports physical health\, emotional well-being\, and spiritual connection. \n. \nBreathing is slow\, long\, and deep\, and movements are gentle and smooth\, encouraging relaxation and natural energy flow. The practice is adaptable and accessible\, and movements can be easily modified to support each participant. \n\n.\nBook the Series: https://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=291435&id_sale=3&k_id=945207\nSaturday\, May 2 class only: https://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=291435&id_sale=1&k_id=4063846\nSaturday\, May 9 class only: https://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=291435&id_sale=1&k_id=4063847\nSaturday\, May 16 class only: https://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=291435&id_sale=1&k_id=4063848\n.

SUMMARY:Meditation for World Peace: A Fundraiser for Community Supported Shelters
DESCRIPTION:Meditation for World Peace: A Fundraiser for Community Supported Shelters\n.\n\nLed by Sarah Finney\n7-8:30p\nFriday\, May 8th\n$25\n\n.\nAn evening rooted in hope\, community\, and love. We’ll move through a blend of guided and silent meditation—both seated and walking—offering our presence to peace within ourselves\, our community\, and beyond. This gathering also serves as a fundraiser for Community Supported Shelters\, supporting their vital work with our unhoused neighbors—an extension of the care and compassion we cultivate in practice. Along the way\, you will have the opportunity to create a small personal altar for peace using thoughtfully provided materials—a tangible reminder you can keep. The evening will close with a simple Sanskrit chant for peace\, grounding our time together in a shared sense of stillness\, connection\, and collective hope.\n.\nSarah discovered yoga and meditation early in life\, where she experienced—perhaps for the first time—what it truly felt like to embody a peaceful life. These practices helped steady her mind and supported a way of moving through life with greater clarity and ease. She has been teaching in the Eugene community for almost two decades\, sharing both yoga and meditation with a wide range of students. While her teaching has spanned various styles\, she is currently most drawn to gentle and restorative practices\, with meditation woven in as a central and meaningful component. Several journeys to Southern India\, including a month-long silent retreat in Amritapuri\, deepened her practice and sparked a meaningful shift—one that continues to inspire her to share meditation practices with her community.\n.\n\nhttps://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/event/everyday_people_yoga?k_class=945218 \n.

SUMMARY:Aware & Ready
DESCRIPTION:Aware & Ready\nWith Bob Heinemann\n2-3pm\nSunday\, June 21st\n$35\n\n\n\n\n.\n\nAware & Ready is a 60-minute women’s safety workshop built around one core idea: real personal safety begins with awareness\, not force. \n. \nThis is not a martial arts class. There is no sparring\, no physical intensity\, and no prior experience required. Just a supportive\, unhurried environment where every participant moves at her own pace. The workshop focuses on the skills that matter most in everyday life; how to read your surroundings with calm clarity\, how to recognize and avoid threatening situations before they escalate\, and how to navigate the psychological and emotional responses that arise under stress. We explore de-escalation\, avoidance\, and grounded awareness that becomes second nature with practice. \n. \nParticipants leave not with a heightened sense of danger\, but with a quieter\, more confident relationship with their own safety. \n\n.\n\nBob Heinemann has been teaching martial arts and self-defense to students ages 4-70 for 25+ years. His background is in Filipino Martial Arts\, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu\, Muay Thai\, Jeet Kune Do\, Kickboxing\, Women’s Self-defense instructor under MKG Martial Arts International\, and Use of Force certified instructor through WA State. He has a genuine passion for empowering people and guiding them through their own self discovery.\n.\nhttps://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=291435&id_sale=3&k_id=973975\n.

DESCRIPTION:“What is Delight” A Dyad Meditation Experience\nLed by Julynel Kerzner\n2-4p\nSunday\, June 28th\n$22-$44 sliding scale\n.\n\nThe intention of this experience is to create a space where delight and joy become the center of our attention. Together\, participants will be invited inward to explore what delight truly means to them — how delight is felt within the body\, when it comes alive\, and what allows us to feel deeply connected to aliveness\, beauty\, and presence. \n. \nDyad Meditation is a contemplative relational practice rooted in the Zen Buddhist tradition. Through the use of a koan — a contemplative question offered not to be solved intellectually\, but experienced directly — participants are invited into a process of inquiry\, presence\, and honest expression. \n. \nFor this experience\, the koan “What is Delight?” will be explored in pairs. Participants will take turns listening deeply and communicating what naturally arises through contemplation. Dyad Meditation is often understood as a form of communicated meditation — a practice that invites us to speak from immediate experience rather than analysis or performance. It is an opportunity to slow down\, listen inwardly\, and express what emerges from the heart in the presence of another. \n. \nFollowing the dyad practice\, participants will be guided into journaling\, reflection\, and group discussion as a way to integrate the experience together in community. \n  \n. \nJulynel Kerzner is a Zen Buddhist practitioner who has devoted the past five years to the path of practice\, presence\, and deep inner listening. Rooted in the understanding that connection itself can be a spiritual practice\, she has spent the last four years working closely with the Dyad Meditation structure\, cultivating a profound reverence for heart-centered connection\, the art of listening\, nonviolent communication\, and mindfulness. \n. \n$44\, Supporter: https://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=291435&id_sale=3&k_id=973986 \n. \n$33\, Standard: https://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=291435&id_sale=1&k_id=4161987 \n. \n$22\, Supported: https://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=291435&id_sale=1&k_id=4161986 \n.

SUMMARY:September Reiki Sound Bath
DESCRIPTION:September Reiki Sound Bath\n.\nWith Ryann Haworth\n4:30-6p\nSaturday\, September 12th\n$33-$44 sliding scale\n.\n\nThis magical workshop is intended to connect you to the healing elements of the Earth through the energy medicines of Reiki\, crystalline sound vibration\, prayer and intentions\, community\, and divine sacred space. \n. \nRyann is an intuitive energy healer who connects with the mind\, body\, and soul\, serving as a facilitator with the divine to help both people and pets heal\, grow\, and thrive. In this context\, “healing” means bringing movement to stagnant\, trapped energy that no longer serves the body through Reiki and Sound Medicine. Using a variety of instruments\, Ryann creates vibrations while Reiki guides her in drawing in vibrant life energy – the same energy that tells a flower to bloom\, a leaf to grow\, a fire to spark\, a baby to cry. Throughout her sessions\, she provides guidance on breath\, visualizations\, and meditation\, helping individuals and groups allow energy to flow freely. This process more than often leaves the receiver feeling refreshed and empowered\, ready to flourish on their unique journey. \n. \n\n\n$33\, Sustained: https://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=291435&id_sale=1&k_id=4003234 \n$38\, Supported: https://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=291435&id_sale=1&k_id=4003236 \n$44\, Supporting: https://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=291435&id_sale=3&k_id=998237\n.

SUMMARY:Welcome Home Group Breathwork
DESCRIPTION:Welcome Home Group Breathwork\n.\nWith Jacob Albritton\n6:30-8:30p\nFriday\, September 18th\n$30 Early Bird through 08/26\, $40 Beginning 08/27\n\n.\n\nThe Welcome Home Breathwork is a powerful conscious connected breathing practice designed to work with your body’s streams of energy\, creating the conditions for energy to open and flow more freely and effortlessly. It is a deep\, immersive\, and transformational experience that invites you on a journey inward\, using the breath as your tool and spirit as your guide\, toward the core of what is real\, present\, and true within you. \n. \nThrough the power of conscious connected breathing\, energy that has been held within the body can begin to move naturally\, creating more space for connection\, healing\, presence\, and Love\, which is our natural essence. Many participants describe the experience as a homecoming—a return to the Self beneath the noise\, tension\, and conditioning of everyday life. \n. \nEvery journey is unique. Some participants experience deep emotional release\, while others enter expanded states of awareness\, vivid inner imagery\, or unexpected physical sensations as energy begins to move. Equally common are waves of joy\, an opening of the heart\, profound peace\, and a renewed sense of clarity. You may feel more connected to your authentic self\, your body’s innate wisdom\, spirit\, the natural world\, or a deeper sense of purpose. Whatever arises is welcomed with compassion\, and every experience is supported with Love\, care\, and respect for your own pace. \n. \nThe breathwork offered in this container stems from the teachings of renowned healer\, teacher\, author\, and leader in the field of breathwork and personal transformation\, David Elliott\, as well as the deep work and mentorship of local healer\, teacher\, author\, and leader\, Luke Adler. \n. \nThroughout the evening\, Jacob Albritton\, accompanied by carefully curated music\, will guide participants through a rhythmic breathing pattern of two inhales followed by one exhale\, all through the mouth. This intentionally activating technique is used to help move stuck energy\, stress\, tension\, grief\, anger\, laughter\, and any emotion that has become lodged within the nervous system. The invitation is not to become someone new\, but to clear what stands between you and the vitality\, authenticity\, and deeper truths that already live within you. \n.\n\n\nJacob Albritton is a breathwork\, shadow work\, men’s work\, embodiment\, relational\, integration\, and emotional regulation facilitator\, coach\, guide\, and teacher. His passion for mental health\, bridging the gap between spirituality and relationships\, and creating containers for humans to learn about themselves and learn to tap into their own inner wisdom and medicine is what gets him out of bed every day. Jacob’s calling to this work was profoundly influenced by his mother’s passing almost a decade ago\, when he was just 20 years young. It was through this experience that he began looking deeply within himself to discover how to heal\, grow\, and make the best out of the worst thing that had ever happened to him.\n.\n\nDeeply influenced by his studies of Taoism\, Buddhism\, Hinduism\, mysticism\, and personal development\, which began in his late teens\, Jacob immersed himself in meditation\, yoga\, breathwork\, and the simple disciplines of daily practice. Jacob founded Moon Mountain Healing over a year ago. Through his practice\, he now facilitates breathwork\, shadow work\, men’s work\, and transformational group experiences designed to help people reconnect with themselves\, their truth\, and the wisdom that already lives within them.\n.\n\nJacob is a certified breathwork facilitator through David Elliott and has completed training in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy through Embody Lab. His work has also been deeply shaped through advanced training\, mentorship\, and personal work with Luke Adler\, along with continued study in trauma\, the nervous system\, qi gong\, breathwork\, nonviolent communication\, somatics\, relationships\, human behavior\, and the psyche.\n.\n\nhttps://www.wellnessliving.com/rs/catalog-view.html?k_business=291435&id_sale=3&k_id=1005396\n.\n\nD750
