I have been a student of yoga posture and philosophy for over 15 years and as part of deepening my personal practice, I began teaching in 2014.
My background is founded in the teachings of the traditional school of Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore, India. This system of yoga instructs practioners to follow the foundational principles that are taught in the wisdom's ancient texts, The Hatha Yoga Pradipika, The Patanjali Yoga Sutras and The Bhagavad Gita and uses posture as therapy for the body.
In this mood, I will offer individual modifications to poses that allow each practioner to find their own flow and to progress safely and effectively through their bodies personal journey.
I am truly blessed to be able to share this practice with others and hope to meet with you on your mat soon.
