Ayurveda Yoga Saturday Series

October 16 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

September 25th : Taming that unruly vata (bring your mat and get ready to be calmed.)
October 2nd : Cooling down the pitta fire (bring your mat and prepare to be soothed.)
October 9th : Enlivening the kapha dosha (bring your mat and anticipate a sweat.)
October 16th : How to do the balance dance with all three doshas (lecture only.)

You can book all or parts of this 4-week series where you will learn about Ayurveda through lighthearted talk and practice.  All levels welcome!

Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science, has everything to do with understanding how to find balance in our everyday lives!  There are three doshas or forces that express themselves in our bodies, minds as well as in all of nature. When the doshas are out of ‘whack’, it’s possible to bring them into balance for the benefit of short and long term health and well-being.  A fun way to understand how these forces affect our lives is through movement or asana practice.

Parthena is a RYT 200 , Ayurvedic practitioner and Ayurvedic counselor recognized by the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. She is also a licensed massage therapist.
