Mahalakshmi and Emam bring you music that is unique and uplifting. Their music is inspired by traditional music from India, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa, alternative rock and jazz. Mahalakshmi sings traditional and original melodies in Sanskrit, weaving poetic lyrics into catchy melodies while accompanying herself on keyboard while Emam provides captivating rhythms on tabla and percussion.

Emam is also a composer and music producer and has been involved in bringing together master musicians from around the world for performances and recordings.  Mahalakshmi is an American singer-songwriter, devotional sound yogini, and writer who has been composing music for over twenty years.  Mahalakshmi has performed in the US, India, and Europe.
